Music playschool (musiikkileikkikoulu, or "muskari" in Finnish) is early childhood music education for children from babies to school age. Children explore music through singing, nursery rhymes, movement, rhythm instruments and play. The youngest children attend together with a parent, and from around age three, children typically attend on their own.

In a traditional music playschool, children sing, play rhythm instruments, move to music, listen and learn through games. The goal is to spark a love of music while developing rhythm, listening skills and social confidence in a safe group setting.

Piano Playschool is a piano-focused music playschool - all the joy and playfulness of traditional music playschool, combined with access to keyboards and digital pianos from the very first lesson. Children learn fun songs and build musical confidence, while developing the skills to start playing their own instrument.

Most piano lessons start at age 6 or 7 - but that doesn't mean younger children can't begin. Piano Playschool is offered for ages 4-6, where children can learn through play, songs, and exploration rather than formal instruction.

That's completely normal at this age! An experienced teacher knows how to keep little ones engaged - 40 minutes goes by faster than you'd think. Remember you can start with a trial lesson and see how it goes!
