Piano Lessons with Barry Scholarship Fund

At Helsinki Piano Lab we want to make it as easy as possible to get started with piano. That's why we offer a completely free trial lesson, as well as very affordable keyboard rental for new students.

It's also why we have a dedicated scholarship fund. The fund has two objectives: 1. To make piano lessons more accessible to those less fortunate; and 2. To attract the best musical talent.

1. Financial reasons
If you've already reviewed the prices and see that it's more than you can afford, you are in the right place. At Helsinki Piano Lab, we believe that the price shouldn't be an obstacle to learning and it should be possible to come to an arrangement.

2. Musical talent
At Helsinki Piano Lab we want to attract the brightest talent. Talent can be measured in many ways, and we try to take a broad approach in making decisions.

Experience in another instrument (including singing),

Experience in other related hobbies (for example dance),

History of quick learning.

We review every application on a case by case basis, so please give a summary of experiences in your application.
