Join a Mission - Not Just a Music School
Updated 3 February 2026
At Helsinki Piano Lab, we believe in transforming lives through music. We're not just teaching piano; we're building a community and igniting a lifelong passion.

We’re looking for piano teachers who share this belief and enjoy working independently.

As a freelance piano teacher, you can choose where to offer services:

-
From your home or teaching space in Vantaa (rapidly growing option)
-
At our Pasila studio, if agreed separately (limited availability)
-
From another teaching location of your choice

Are you comfortable working independently and do you enjoy teaching? All roles are independent freelance collaborations - we support the collaboration by handling areas such as admin, marketing, and invoicing, so you can focus on teaching.
Typical assignments
-
Teach piano to a diverse selection of children and adults
-
Create a supportive and inspiring learning environment using your own teaching methods
-
Engage with our musical community, participating in optional events and workshops
-
You may have the opportunity to connect with other teachers and share ideas in a supportive environment
-
Contribute to our mission of turning individual lessons into lifelong journeys of musical fulfillment.

This is an independent and flexible collaboration - ideal for an experienced and passionate piano teacher who enjoys working on a freelance basis.
